Japan: for absent-minded people

Another reason why #Japan is good for absent-minded people like me. 😁

As I am about to exit my station, I rummaged through my bag, wallet, and pass holder for my ticket. Then it hit me; I forgot to get it at the ticket gate … several stations away! 🤦‍♀️

Was ready with #GoogleTranslate to explain what happened and cash to pay.

Forgetful me: Ah, sumimasen… (explaining about the lost 🎟)

Station officer: Oh that’s you! (in English)

He then told me that the other station called them re my “lonely” 🎟. 😞

Station officer: You are busy. (pointing at his temple)

Me: … 🤔 (hoping he didn’t mean “crazy”)

Station officer: So, you can just exit. (pointing at the automatic door)

Me: Really?! 😯 (thinking he might change his mind and charge me) Thank you (leaving immediately)

Btw, this is the third time this has happened. Same station. 😉
